This book is excellent. The end is where I was confused. How come a huge time pimp (snake) was never seen until the end. Why was he upset? and why did he wait the day of Angel’s wedding to want to speak to her? I liked Kay and Angel together, I just feel terrible that there wedding did not go as plot. I fell in like with Roz and Trae’s tale. I reckon he was killed by one of her ex-boyfriend’s friends (just a thought), but why years later?. Its sad because they seemed so pleased. Why after all this time Jaz case was thrown out, I thought that after she had her baby, that she was going to jail. She had her baby along time ago. Why was Kyra and Marvin still together. He was the main person she was trying to get away from. All of a sudden they are together. I reckon the book was missinhg alot of info because it didn’t even pick up where it was lefted off. Something went incorrect there.
We are all still lefted in the dark.

I was on edge reading the end of the book. I read the elevator scene over and over. I thought I was going crazy. Please tell me that you have book three ready. I really need to know. I like the tale line of both books. I read them both in three days.

Wahida first book was certainly one to read. The follow-up was just too low keyed for me. You had more sex scenes than anything, no real tale line and I didn’t see anything raw about it at all. I expected a lot more from the follow-up and was quite disappointed. I was able to relate to her first book in a lot of ways because I was married to a right thug while he was on the streets as well as locked down so I know that life. This book was a let down for real.

I read about 2 to 3 books a week. I have read & re-read this book 6 times in the last 8 days. I loved it. I can’t wait to read the final book. I have to know does Angel leave Kaylin for Snake, is Trae dead (?) (he better not be, that nigga place it down) did Tasha & Trae have twins – the final two chapters had some serious typo’s but if you like reading then you can overlook this but with the typo’s it makes the ending a small unclear. I must say, Ms. Clark writing skills are off the hook. I have read several books that I have loved – Coldest Winter, Terri Woods (triology) Nikki Turner books, Zach Tate, etc…but this one by FAR had me from the 1st page to the last.
